Clock sources¶

The GECKO4-Education provides two clock oscillators and seven push-buttons that are connected to clock-inputs of the FPGA.

Xtal-oscillators¶

There are two crystal oscillators on the board, one with a frequency of 12MHz and the other with a frequency of 50MHz. The FPGA pin assignment is shown in the table below. Here is an example tcl-script that can be used for the pin assignment in Quartus with the corresponding clock sdc file.
