The gerber files to produce the board can be found {{:gecko4education:gecko4_education_gerber.zip|in this zip file}}. The PCB has been designed using the rules of the standard pool of [[http://www.eurocircuits.com/|Eurocircuits]] using 0.15mm via-hole-diameter.

Here you can download the {{:gecko4education:pick_place_for_gecko4_education_rev5.txt|pick and place file}} to generate the {{:gecko4education:brd.zip|board files}} for the Essemtec SMT Assembly System.

===== Errata =====
review / change orders for PCB version 3.3.1
  * use footprint SOIC127P600X175-8N for U3
  * create new larger footprint for U5 (208-mils body with)
  * MicroUSB J1 has to be placed closer to the PCB edge or needs milling. Actually it cannot be mounted flat on the PCB due to its mechanical dimensions. See 3D view of Altium design for details.
  * Wrong USB reference in Wiki BOM (mini USB type instead of micro USB type)
  * S25FL164K not recommended for new designs!
    Information from Cypress datasheet:
  This product family has been retired and is not recommended for designs. For new and current designs, S25FL064L supersede the S25FL1-K  family.  These  are  the  factory-recommended  migration  paths.  Please  refer  to  the  S25FL-L  Family  datasheets  for specifications and ordering information.
